On the sidelines of the First Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference, King Abdulaziz University signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. The agreement aims to align academic expertise with operational practices in the Two Holy Mosques and enhance services provided to pilgrims, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The MoU covers six areas of cooperation: establishing joint research teams, sharing research outcomes, offering academic and training programs, launching innovative initiatives, hosting scientific events and specialized workshops, and enabling student field training and volunteering. It also includes the exchange of faculty and researcher visits to promote collaboration.
The partnership strengthens ties between academic institutions and service organizations working in the Two Holy Mosques, enhancing service quality for pilgrims and promoting community innovation and national responsibility.
